Overdeck Insulation With mFV®
‘mFV’® exfoliated vermiculite is a 100% natural, non-fibrous, lightweight material, widely used for thermal insulation, acoustic treatment and as a fireproof material. mFV® consists of accordion-like granules, containing microscopic layers, which give optimum insulation properties, resulting in an overall temperature differentiation of about 8°C to 10°C within the building. mFV needs to be mixed with cement in 6:1 ratio by volume and requisite water.
A maximum up to 300mm layer is recommended in a 6:1 ratio for top slabs and up to 30mm layer is recommended in a 4:1:1 ratio for side walls.
